The North American Aviation Test Tow Vehicle (TTV) was built in order to train those astronauts selected for the Gemini Space Programme initiated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the early to mid 1960s. It was one of two TTVs used to test manned manoeuvring, control, and "touch-down" techniques onto the dry lake bed at the United States Air Force Flight Test Facility at Edwards Air Force Base, in California.
I took these photos were taken at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. The "arty" prints were done on Adobe Photoshop, and I think they are rather nice. Other opinions may vary.
